Gugak FM Broadcasting System, established
in March of 2001 as a music channel specialized in Korean traditional
music and culture,
is a public broadcasting entity airing in Seoul and metropolitan
area(FM99.1MHz), Namwon area(FM95.9MHz) located in south central
part
of korea and jindo area(FM94.7MHz) located in south part of Korea.
In the rapidly changing broadcasting environments with the advent
of interaction, multi-media, and multi-channel, Gugak FM Broadcasting
Channel will be armed with expertise and contemporary causes as
a traditional music broadcasting agency, an integrator of the traditional
with the newest technologies using digital system , a builder of
effective broadcasting personnel management model,
and a catalyst that leads culture competition era so that we can
be a pioneer to open a specialized broadcasting era and
to spread Korean traditional music and culture worldwide.
